Main Article Content
Abstract
This research explores the application of Shariah economic values in the global economic transformation, focusing on the principles of Tauhid and Akhlak as the ethical foundation in Shariah economics. The study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review to examine the role of these principles in shaping a more just, sustainable, and ethical economic system. The findings suggest that Tauhid, which aligns economic activities with the will of God, emphasizes both material and spiritual well-being. Additionally, Akhlak promotes honesty, justice, and social responsibility, leading to more sustainable business practices. The research highlights that Shariah economics offers solutions to the economic injustice and social inequalities prevalent in capitalist systems by focusing on wealth redistribution through mechanisms like zakat, infaq, and charity. The study concludes that Shariah-based economics presents a viable alternative to conventional economic systems, emphasizing justice and fairness. Future research should explore the broader implementation of Shariah principles in global sectors such as international banking and trade.
